Michael Schaub has been one of the leading German management consultants in the field of intellectual property protection for more than 15 years. He began his career after completing a bank apprenticeship and studying business administration at Siemens AG, where he performed numerous international management tasks during his 12 years with the company. When he switched to Perot Systems, a professional phase began in which Michael Schaub, as managing director and board member, built up or realigned numerous companies, introduced new products with them and opened up new markets. Before he settled down as a management consultant, he restructured the purchasing of international technology licenses for Bundesdruckerei, was responsible for international sales and marketing, and positioned the system house in the market, as well as introducing its facial recognition systems.
Michael Schaub has extensive experience in the development of property rights strategies including the design of property rights portfolios, the establishment of development- and exploitation cooperations, the profitable marketing of property rights and technology scouting. One focus of his work is in the field of information and communication technology, new mobility and artificial intelligence. His clients include leading international corporations, innovative medium-sized companies, well-known venture investors and well-known research institutions.
Seine Begeisterung für Gewerbliche Schutzrechte führte Marc Thomsen 2017 zur Florenus Consulting GmbH. Während und nach Abschluss seines Maschinenbau Studiums an der TU Berlin bildete er sich kontinuierlich in den Bereichen Patent- und Gebrauchsmusterrecht, Urheberrecht und Marken- und Designrecht weiter. Heute Arbeitet er als Patentingenieur und Projekt-Manager in vielen Bereichen des Gewerblichen Rechtschutzes.
Marc Thomsen has extensive experience in researching, evaluating and registering industrial property rights. His daily tasks include the administration of various IP portfolios including the evaluation, marketing and development of new technologies and rights.
Dr. Stefan Rolf Huebner studied physics and biophysics at Harvard University, USA, the University of Oxford, England, and the Technical University of Munich and received his doctorate with a thesis on nanobiotechnology. Before specializing in intellectual property, he was a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. in high-tech practice, research assistant at Klinikum rechts der Isar in Munich and research fellow at Harvard Medical School, USA. Dr. Huebner is a German Patent Attorney and a European Patent and Trademark Attorney. He received his training in commercial legal protection at the University of Munich and at the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property. Dr. Huebner has more than 15 years of experience in industrial property protection with a focus on patent grant, opposition, nullity and infringement proceedings and the negotiation of license and development agreements. His scientific and technical focus is on medicine and biomedicine, physics and materials science. He is one of the few recognized European experts in the field of nanotechnology patents. His clients include several leading international technology companies and well-known research institutions. He advises the European Patent Office as an expert and teaches as a guest lecturer at the University of Hohenheim. His articles appear in leading journals.
