The prerequisite is a successful transport transition towards sustainable mobility behaviour. This means more mobility with less traffic, greater energy efficiency, less land consumption and the fulfilment of climate targets. But how can this be achieved?\u00a0<\/p><h2 style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-secondary-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-secondary-font-weight ); font-size: var( --e-global-typography-secondary-font-size ); text-transform: var( --e-global-typography-secondary-text-transform );\">Sustainable mobility behaviour<\/h2><p>One approach is the increased use of rail infrastructure, the further expansion of bus and scheduled services on the road, the use of zero-emission vehicles and the improvement of service quality. In addition, we urgently need the digitalisation of the entire infrastructure, user-friendly customer interfaces and simple, nationwide fare systems. All options should be discussed. Automated trains and trams are conceivable in order to allow more traffic to run on the same infrastructure. Automated depots can help to keep vehicle maintenance costs low.
